As harvest 2020 comes to a close, we’re looking back at the summer at the terrible farm damage that occurred in Iowa where a Derecho, which is basically a land hurricane with 100 mph winds, swept across Iowa. The region had already been struggling with recovering from the floods of 2018 and this storm has only added to the pain. We won’t mention the trade war with China as well. The Minnesota Millennial farmer toured the damage in Iowa and gave us a great tour of what happened and how farmers have struggled through harvest this year to get out of the field what they can. If this topic is of interest, we recommend Cole the Cornstar. His family farm was right in the middle of it and they suffered tremendous damage.
