What happens when a Harvard trained attorney returns to his African-American neighborhood to solve injustice? In the new movie, Just Mercy Michael B. Jordan returns to the screen to tell the story of a young man in the 1980s who, after law school at Harvard returns to his town to fight injustice and try to improve the relationship between the community and the while-controlled justice system in Georgia. For poor communities, and communities of color, good legal help is hard to find and in the movie, the intrepid young man sets out to make a change for the world he grew up in. This is an amazing movie, beautifully directed and with great talent. Jamie Foxx also does a turn in the movie with a host of all our favorite African-American actors.
