One of the things that most people never tell you about adulthood is how lonely it can be. Eventually the large group of people you’re around from your youth all fade away to their jobs, relationships and lives. If you don’t develop those things yourself, for whatever reason, life can be pretty lonely. However, no one has to stay alone forever feeling like they are disconnected from the world around them. This is amplified in the LGBT community. Many can’t live their truth honestly as young people and that means that are delays in development and in life goals well into adulthood which can lead to quite a bit of loneliness. Being different is hard enough and doing it alone is just even more difficult. There is hope though! This film illustrates that in a really sweet way.
