Getting supplies to where they are needed in the pandemic crisis has been difficult. Coordinating the shipping has been a sticky problem for both state and federal officials. However, in early April, Boeing volunteered their extra large cargo jets called “Dreamlifter.” These modified planes use various engines and technologies from Boeing’s passenger fleet to create a truly unique airplane that carry odd sized objects, parts for Boeing’s supply chain, or a prodigious supply of Personal Protective Equipment. In this video, a pilot on one of the 4 planes takes about how they can help out in the pandemic.
