Get your slim tie and Mad Men looks ready because the old TWA terminal at JFK is now been turned into the most swanky mid-modern hotel we didn’t know we needed.

The TWA terminal is an icon of mid-century design with its futuristic lines, open spaces, use of metal and plaster and open glass spaces looking out onto the apron. When TWA was absorbed into American Airlines following the crash of TWA flight 800 in the 1990s, the terminal was closed and fell into disrepair. It sat empty until 2015 when plans began to turn it into a hotel and now that hotel is open and The Points Guy has the inside scoop.
