Covid has been tough on the airline industry and while smaller airlines have shut their doors or otherwise had to readjust, the crisis has impacted the nascent Indian airline industry. Several companies have tried to make a domestic airline work on the subcontinent but no one has had any success so far. A combination of infrastructure (and the lack of it), price fluctuations, a small market and government regulation have made it hard for any airline to survive.
