Patrick Moore is a fascinating figure. He helped found Greenpeace which is probably the most famous environmental group. They have helped stopped nuclear testing, whaling, and has advocated for environmental policies since 1971 when the environmental policy was just becoming mainstream.

But then he walked away. Why?

Because Greenpeace lost its way along the way and took a very different tack. Greenpeace didn’t have many scientists and the new leaders were emotionally motivated rather than motivated by science.
